OK, this is my rant blog! A friend called – he’s shooting nights on a movie, alternating with days -  and go ta call sheet marked 12pm for a call the next day. He was confused by this, and no wonder, as there is NO SUCH TIME!!!! Even though TV stations, parking signs,stores, movie call sheets, etc., etc. persist in using “12am” and “12pm” THEYARE MEANINGLESS AND TOTALLY INCORRECT TERMS. THE CORRECT DESIGNATION IS – AND ALWAYS WILL BE – 12 NOON OR 12 MIDNIGHT!!!!! END OF RANT….
