My new Mac Pro may have eight processors, but without a drive system that can keep up, it would be useless for HD editing. Since I had an Enhanced Technology’s E8 ML RAID case on hand with eight Seagate SAS drives, all I needed was a Mac compatible adapter.

In the industry, one of the best music video editors is Livio Sanchez. Sanchez is one of the staff editors on the roster of FilmCore Editorial, a prestigious post house in Santa Monica, Calif. Like most of his music video compatriots, Livio considers himself a film editor even though he cuts his licks on an Avid Media Composer because most music videos are shot on film.
