The 10th Annual CineVegas Film Festival will be held June 12 – 21, 2008 at the Palms Casino Resort and Brenden Theatres in Las Vegas.

Since Vegas is a long strip of glamarama, It comes to no surprise that Peter Cattaneo’s feature film The Rocker, will open the 10th year of CineVegas, setting the vibe for a wild week in “Sin City.” The roulette tables will be crowded with filmmakers, celebrities, and plenty of dirty martinis.

Anjelica Huston, Don Cheadle, Viggo Mortsensen. Rosario Dawson, and Sam Rockwell will be honored with The Marquee Award. In addition, James Caan is to receive the Festival’s Vegas Icon Award. A special benefit for The Rock Foundation’s Project Knapsack, a program developed by Dwayne Johnson to boost children’s self-esteem, will take place on June 15th with the screening of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Get Smart.
