Alaska's New Incentive Program

Alaska Film Group (AFG) just got a bill passed for a new incentive program. If a production shooting in Alaska spends a minimum of $100,000 in-state over two years, they will receive a 30% tax credit on money directly spent in the state, plus another 10% for local hire and 2% if shooting remotely. Productions will also receive an added 2% off if shooting during Alaska’s off- season.
