ZGC / Cooke Optics
Cine Gear, Booth 48B / 48C

Leicester, UK – 28 May 2008 - Distribution company ZGC will be showcasing the latest high level camera equipment from Cooke Optics and P+S Technik at Cine Gear Expo in LA in June 2008. Highlights on the booth include the Cooke RED Set of S4 /i lenses and the SKATER Junior camera dolly from P+ S Technik that was recently unveiled at NAB 2008.

The new, affordably priced SKATER Junior camera dolly can be equipped with a wide range of smaller camera heads from manufacturers such as Cartoni, Sachtler, O’Connor and Manfrotto, or with photo heads such as three way heads or ball heads, with a 3/8“ or 1/4“ mounting screw. A wide range of accessories from the SKATER Mini dolly can also be used on the even more compact Junior.

Another major attraction will be the Cooke RED Set, a package of four standard, PL-mounted Cooke S4/i lenses. The lenses come fully equipped with Cooke’s /i “Intelligent” Technology that enables film and digital cameras to automatically record key lens and camera data for every film frame, which can then be provided digitally to post production teams. As RED has built support for Cooke’s /i Technology into the /i contacts of the RED camera lens mount, no additional equipment is needed.

ZGC will also showcase a range of P+S Technik’s image converters, including the Mini35 Compact, a smaller, brighter and more lightweight version of the original Mini35 that allows camera operators to use 35mm film lenses on 1/3” chip video camcorders to achieve a film look with the JVC GY-HD110/200/250 and Canon XL H1 cameras.  Also on display are the original Mini35, the Pro35 2/3” and the new Pro35 ½” Digital Image Converters, designed to allow hundreds of film lens choices for video production, from TV series to music videos.

Cine Gear Expo takes place on June 20-21 2008 on the Universal Studios Back Lot in Los Angeles, California. To register to attend Cinegear, visit https://www.speedbadge.com/sreg2.php?s=cinegear.
